Money for a Brass Player
The Southwest Community Concert Band is presenting the Tom J. Liska Brass Scholarship to a brass player at their June 6 concert. Tom (who passed away in his late 20′s from diabetes) is from Tinley Park and an alumni of Grissom and Andrew High School and was a brass player. The Liska family selects the recipient. Tom also played in the Arts Alive! Band

Tom J. Liska Brass Scholarship
Eligibility – Open to any High School brass instrumentalist from the Southwest Community Concert Band area.
Award – A monetary amount to be used toward music lessons, instrument repair, instrument purchase or tuition.
